Aswini started its journey in Vizag (Visakhapatnam, AP) “The city of destiny” with a humble beginning; our first generation entrepreneurs started Aswini School in year 1989 with strength of twenty students. With a motto to provide quality education at an affordable cost to the middle class of India. Over the years we have grown into one of the top schools in costal Andhra Pradesh by keeping our values and motto intact. Over two decades we have groomed many engineers, doctors, sportsmen, to make a difference in the society. We deliver quality education to over thousand students in our two branches in Vizag with the help of over a hundred trained and dedicated staff. Over the years Aswini Group has ventured into the distribution, exports, IT, e-commerce and now entering the power sector to make a difference. Aswini is coming up with Genret “generate, recycle for a better tomorrow”. We want to help India in reach its goal of “electricity for all”, also help the people of rural India access to basic needs of pure water, education which will help them fight most of their problems and diseases. Aswini has always believed in giving back to the society. The group has a strong management team with the right blend of experience and youth to drive it in achieving its goal to become a global player.

Aswini Info Solutions (AIS) is a software and product development firm with offices in Visakhapatnam and New Jersey (USA). We offer services to outsourcing vendors in following areas:
- Application development, Web-Apps.
- Engineering services- Design, Drafting, Analysis and DFMA.
- Website designing, Graphic designing.
Ø Gift a Smile:
"Anyone in this world will go an extra mile to put a smile on the face on their loved one."
So, AIS is willing to go that extra mile for millions of people around the globe by helping their warmth and love reach their loved ones and put a smile of their faces through our service Gift a Smile. We have designed a gift platform to make a small difference in this world. We currently deliver Cakes, Flowers, Gifts to over 500 locations in India, also planning to include eco-friendly gifts and are going to implement two programs “Gift a Smile to a Child” (To sponsor for education of a child in India) and “Plant a Smile” (In collaboration with Bhaarathi Agro Farms to Plant trees and issue gift certificates, an initiative to reduce carbon footprint). Spreading smiles to India currently, coming soon to USA, UK and Canada.
- Glory Exports:
Helping women entrepreneurs exports garments to UK, Canada and USA on a small scale and help them identify new markets and vendors.
- Genret:
Genret is Aswini Group’s new venture to enter the power sector and help rural India realize its dream of “Electricity for All”. The word Genret is coined from our vision to “generate and recycle for a better tomorrow”. We plan to generate power through renewable energy sources and recycle waste to help make the world a better place for generations to come. We are currently venturing into power generation thorough Solar Energy and wish to expand in future to other renewable sources and recycling of e-waste.

Mrs. M. Vijaya Bharati (Founder, Managing Director)
Mrs. M. Vijaya Bharati is the Founder and Managing Director of Aswini Group. She is one of the few lady entrepreneurs in Andhra Pradesh who made a difference in the society. After completion of M.A (Public Administration) and B.Ed (Social & English), in the year 1989 she started Aswini School with a motive of imparting quality and affordable education. From the first Aswini School, she has started the journey of Aswini that now has diversified from education to IT, e-commerce, exports, and distribution. She is the CEO of Vizag division of ALEAP, heads the team that is bringing the all women entrepreneurs first Eco-friendly products industrial park to Vizag. She is the main driving force behind Aswini Group and a great inspiration and support for many lady entrepreneurs.
Mr. K. Rama Rao Garu (President, Aswini Educational Society)
Mr. K. Rama Rao has done his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, from Andhra University, one of the best Universities in India in 1950s, later joined Visakhapatnam Port to serve as a Civil Engineer. He has been a driving force in many government and private enterprises for over 40 years. He has worked as General Manager for Visakhapatnam Port, DCI, Delphi, he played a major role is shaping Aswini Schools as one of the best schools in costal Andhra Pradesh. He has been instrumental in success of Aswini Group. He has over forty years of experience in leading teams in heavy construction projects like Sea Ports, Dams and Canals, etc.
Mr. K. Rama Gopal (COO, Aswini Group)
Mr. K. Rama Gopal is a young entrepreneur, who started his career as a Radio Officer in Shipping Industry at a very young age, later his entrepreneurial spirit could not keep him in the seas for long. He came back and started SMS Communications in year 1994 eyeing the market for EPBAX systems in India, which has just opened its economy to the outside world. He was very successful in distribution and installation of these systems, later also distributed Motorola pagers who they first came to India. Later mobile phones came to India; he was one of the major distributors for JTM (Jasmine Tele-mobile, which was later taken over by Airtel). He is the main driving force behind SMS traders. He has over 15 years of experience in distribution business and a large network in South India. He has successfully dealt with products like Motorola, Nestle, Hindustan Lever, etc.
Mr. M. Yashwant Ram (CEO, Aswini Group)
Mr. M. Yashwant Ram has done his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from GVPCOE and later done his Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA. He worked for two years in USA for reputed companies like Infotech Enterprises and Take Solutions. He is entrepreneur from his teens, heads the technology division (Aswini Info Solutions, Gift a Smile, Genret) of Aswini Group. Eco-restaurants and Gift a Smile are his brainchild. He is the second generation entrepreneur who joined the group, to take it forward.
